This place has existed as far back as I can remember and hasn't changed at all, its previous name was Soup and Noodles. It is Chinese-Canadian comfort food of the highest order. Prices have gone up but still extremely reasonable compared to other joints, especially considering the massive portions. All the classics are there, standouts are anything with Peanut sauce and the fresh veggies.

Hot and sour soup is always delicious! General Tao chicken is excellent too! Chinese broccoli with mushrooms and garlic .... So many dishes to try!

Great late night eats! Was searching for restaurants open late and this popped up. Super tasty and flavourful! What you would expect from your typical local Chinese restaurant but it exceeded my expectations surprisingly. They’re generous on their portions too (huge bonus)! Service was top notch. The gentleman serving was so friendly and had a warm attitude even towards the end of his long day shift. The vibe is like what you’d get from a typical hole in the wall place, super clean and simple decor. Overall enjoyed the food and service, would 100% recommend and come back again!

I have been eating at this place for a while now and their food never disappoints! They have so much variety in their dishes from sweet to salty to vegetarian and even vegan if I’m not mistaken. The portions are also very big for the price!! The staff is very accommodating and the service very quick.

Nouilles Star in Montreal offers a delightful dining experience with flavorful dishes. I tried the General Tao's Chicken, chicken soup, and Cantonese noodles—each was fresh, perfectly seasoned, and satisfying. The portions were generous, and the service was prompt. A great spot for a comforting, casual meal in the city!

The food at Nouilles Star was absolutely delicious! Every dish was full of flavor, and the portions were very generous for the price—definitely great value. While the decor gives off some very old-school vibes (think aged wooden tables and seats), the taste of the food more than makes up for it. I really enjoyed the experience overall. The only thing that stood out a bit was the older waiter—he seemed in a rush and not super warm or chatty, more like “give me the bottom line” energy. But if you’re going for the food, it’s totally worth it. I’ll be back!

They prepare the order really quickly, and the food is served hot, which is great. The quality is acceptable, and the prices are quite reasonable. However, when it comes to meat dishes, the amount of meat is usually quite small—just three or four pieces. Additionally, the restaurant itself could definitely be cleaner, especially the sauce and seasoning containers on the tables. They really need more attention to hygiene.
